How are you powering the plotter and computer and heat gun?

Hi, So im looking to tint my ct4. Im deciding either llumar pinnacle or xpel xr plus. Which do you recommend out of those two?

Can you share factory windshield heat rejection values?

Tinted my old 2014 Outback at a fairly light tint, just a shade light than the other tinting, and had no issues at all with the eyesight system, and drove it for 10 years. Of course the systems are a couple generations newer now.

Maybe it’s just me but the xr black looks darker than the xr plus from the outside for the same percentages.

i went with removable roof shade for view and cost. my shade tint: windshield 70%, side-front 20%, side-rear and back 50%.

Was there seal failure by tinting the double pain window at any point over the years?

My tint shop installed 20 and I requested 15. It’s for a Tesla model 3 full one piece rear window. Is it risky to have them remove it and redo 15?

Why not use a heat gun like those used to remove decals? On lower setting

what about spraying acetone on the window?

Is this 15% in the rear over factory privacy glass or 15% over clear rear windows?

I have the same tint on my windshield, but after parking the car outside for a while, the dash still feels hot to the touch. Is that the radiant heat getting through?

Great video and thanks for sharing. I have a question, might be obvious but i dont want to assume... I've seen how window tint blocks most sunlight from entering through car windows. Does residential window tint mean the rooms tinted will be darker as well? Will it completely take away the 'natural light'?

Since the absorption rate is 51, this would be a no-go for dual pane residential windows right? If so, what do you recommend as your go-to for dual panes? Thank you!

I have a 2017 Z06/Z07 and was wondering what windshield tint to get? I plan on putting 15% on the sides and rear and hate how it looks leaving the windshield untouched. I’m in between 45% and 35% and wanted to know which one matches better to 15% on sides?

I dont know if this comment will even be answered but bro if you are seeing this please help me out with one thing- I got a 2016 ford fusion with factory 70 vlt tint etched on the glass (that’s how I know it) and I wanna install XPEL PRIME XR PLUS Nano ceramic 70 vlt film on top of the already factory 70% tint, what would be the final tint vlt after installation? thank you. Because I wear glasses so wanna be able to see everything clearly outside but at the same time want some privacy and aesthetic coolness as well

The double pane front windows are for noise reduction (not car accidents).

Is the nanoflex still a good tint ?

On xpels website it says xr black is only 78% IR. I saw in one of your videos that it said 85%. Did xpel change it?

I like the blue look. It's still cool that you can get it in a film that clear for states with lame cops.😂

Just did it, worked a treat on an old F150 with very burned on tint.

Does that thing measure UV as well? Or, just IR?

I'm thinking going 55 all around. Should be fine to see at night.

Dumb question .. why cant you use the heat gun on the whole window so you dont have to wait 3 days to dry?
